MARK OF RICHARD RUGG, LONDON, 1760
With shell and scroll border, on three hoof feet, the centre later flat-chased with scrolls and flower-heads around an engraved coat-of-arms; together with another similar George II silver salver, mark of William Peaston, London, 1747, with foliate scroll border, on three paw feet, the centre flat-chased with scrolls and flowers around engraved initials
