The curving tapering watered steel blade with a carved arabesque before the juncture, with gold inlay, a line of naskh in gold and repeated on each face, the jointure with gemstones, the associated jade hilt probably from 16th or 17th century with silver inlay at top, the gold-cased sheath with polychrome enamel cusped floral medallions, losses in the enamel and inlay
