Late Qianlong (1735-1796), with blue enamel hall mark
Enamelled with two huntsmen on horseback, others on foot, and attendants brandishing tridents, lances, swords and a whip, accompanied by hounds in pursuit of a fox on the banks of a river in a mountainous landscape, all below a seven-line inscription, some restoration to rim, hairline rim crack
