The lobed pear-shaped body moulded with cranes amidst pine and prunus beneath stylised clouds, decorated in iron-red, green, aubergine, salmon, underglaze-blue and black enamels and gilt, the rim painted with an iron-red key-band above a ribbed bulb, all raised on three feet modelled as bijin, set with loop handle and aperture for tap, the cover surmounted by a knop finial raised on a fungus stem, cover restored, feet restored, crack
