engraving, circa 1498, watermark Small Jug (Meder 158), a very good Meder II a/b impression, before the scratch on Hercules' right calf and the lines across the jawbone, but printing with undescribed scratches on his right thigh and buttock, trimmed on or just outside the platemark but retaining a fillet of blank paper outside the borderline on three sides, a thread margin above, a tiny repaired hole on the reclining woman's waist, otherwise in very good condition, framed
