etching with drypoint, circa 1639, watermark Foolscap with a five-pointed Collar (similar to A. & F. 19 A.a.), a good impression of the second state (of three), with selectively wiped tone in the foreground, inky plate edges in places, with some wear in the densely hatched background as usual, with narrow margins, the tips of the corners repaired, a short repaired tear at the lower margin at centre, with the Gersaint number in brown ink verso, otherwise in good condition, framed
