PROPERTY FROM A WELL-MAINTAINED WEST-COAST CELLAR

Around 600 bottles were removed from this well-maintained temperature-controlled cellar by Christie's specialists in early 2009, and carefully shipped to our warehouse in New York City. A selection of Bordeaux and California examples from the collection was opened on arrival in New York, and the wines were found to be in impeccable condition, as expected. The good maintenance of this cellar is reflected with a percentage of the bottles showing signs of damp-staining - and the selection includes a number of enticing post-war Bordeaux and current-drinking Bordeaux and California wines, with many of the older bottles having previously been purchased at prior Christie's auctions in the United States.
