The first carved and inlaid in shell and stained ivory with a market and flower-viewing scene; another similar, with panels containing birds, animals and insects, metal mounts, signed to the interior Ryu/Yanagi, stand; and a chest with sliding doors, inlaid in coral, tortoiseshell and decorated in iroe lacquer with ladies, sealed; the last and largest in iroe lacquer with eight of the zodiac animals, gilt kanagu -- 6¼in.
