Reputedly purchased from the library at Exeter University

Sir Herbert Baker (1862 - 1946) renowned architect, one of his most notable commissions was to work along side Sir Edwin Lutyens on a series of important civic buildings built in New Delhi during 1912, returning to England the following year to establish his practice in London with partner Alexander Scott.
