The U-shaped superstructure fitted on each side with three drawers, a cupboard and three pigeon-holes and centered by a locking cupboard, surrounding a red leather and gilt tooled writing surface, above three drawers, on square tapering legs and casters, previously with a gallery, inscribed in white chalk to underside twice '2750' and once '740'
