FOUR BOW KAKIEMON WARES
CIRCA 1755-1758
Comprising two graduated lobed beakers, an octagonal dessert plates and a larger plated with shaped slighly everted rim, each painted in the 'Quail' or 'Partridge' pattern, the rims of the first three in red with a band of trailing vine, that of the larger plate with scatterd Kakiemon blossoms within a brown line rim
2 in. (5.1 cm.) and 2 1/2 in. (6.4 cm.) high, the beakers; 7 3/8 in. (18.8 cm.) wide, the octagonal plate; 8 3/8 in. (21.3 cm.) diameter, the dessert plate (4)
