Lot Essay

The present salts are notable for their small size, the richness of the molding and the precision with which they have been assembled. Close examinination reveals that not only are the components on each from the same molds, they have been precisely assembled according to a plan, the pierced conch shells angled outwards, a clam between each, etc.
