the set of thirteen woodcuts with handcolouring, on card, vivid, unattenuated impressions, each signed in black ink, from the deluxe edition of 40 (Editions B, C, D and E contain lithographic reproductions of the woodcuts), with full margins, time-staining darkening towards the sheet edges, scattered foxing mainly in the margins, a little moisture staining at the sheet edges of Guardsman, News-Boy and Drum-Major, a hard crease in the right margin of Lady (Rotten Row), surface dirt and handling marks in the margins, abrasions at the extreme sheet corners, otherwise generally in good condition, loose in the original cloth boards with stamped title and cover image in red and black, with dark staining and surface wear, lacking the cloth tie(portfolio)B. 255 x 230 mm., S. 535 x 510 mm.
