The absence of a latitude table and the unfinished decoration could be indicative of an unknown, apprentice instrument-maker working in the style of the Willebrand Augsburg crescent dials.

unsigned and undated, the hinged hour-plate with two crescent-shaped silvered hour scales engraved 10-1-12 and 2-12, hinged crescent gnomon on sliding calendrical scale, latitude arc for 30°-90°, folding support for plumb bob, two screw feet and bun foot (two later screws to base).
