A GROUP OF GLASS INLAYS, ORNAMENTS AND BEADS
EGYPTIAN, ROMAN AND ISLAMIC PERIODS, CIRCA 1ST CENTURY B.C./8TH CENTURY A.D.
Comprising an Egyptian red and blue mosaic glass costume fragment; a Romano-Egyptian floral tile fragment; an iridescent dark blue S-shaped twisted rod ornament; an Islamic melon-shaped bead; a dark blue seated female pendant; a 'black' negro head pendant; a group of pendant juglets comprising two of blue 'splash' glass, one with openwork body, one spiral trail, and another iridescent blue; an iridescent spindle whorl; and an opaque yellow bead all circa 1st Century B.C./8th Century A.D.
