Provenance
Collection of William Henry Fox Talbot (1800-1877); and thence by descent to the present owner.
An ink inscription reads "... papyrus égyptien ... figures enveloppant une momie trouvée à Memphis". However, it is more likely that the papyri have a Theban origin.
