The sides and cover applied with stamped rococo gold mounts depicting scrolls and flower-heads, gilt-metal borders and push-button thumb-piece, containing a pair of gold-handled scissors, folding fruit knife with inlaid tortoiseshell handle and steel blade, a folding aide mémoire, a pencil and a steel bodking with gold ear pick terminal
