Lot Essay

'My art is very much about the social situation as I live surrounded by Cairo's daily life and people , I follow their feelings, their lives, their stories while In Egypt people likes to talk a lot about their works, children, economic and family problems , All these stories are the core of my work. I juxtapose photography, which realistically represents my subjects; with abstract decorative elements that try to express their feelings and that create a synonymy between their emotions and mine, so my art reflects these characteristics especially in London which had also influenced me from a formal point of view. I have found there a new sign, a linear and continuous pencil stroke that expresses the ideas of peace and silence, of quiet and not worry of many of the characters I have portrayed in this last series of London works.'
