The moulded cornice above a pair of glazed doors with oval astragals enclosing three mahogany adjustable later shelves, the base section with a hinged secretaire drawer disguised as two drawers, with a leather writing-surface and a fitted interior with pigeon holes and mahogany-lined drawers above three graduated drawers, on shaped bracket feet, the handles apparently original, the reverse with a Rumsey and Son depository label, inscribed in ink ANNESLEY/20, and another Army and Navy warehouse label stamped MRS A GUINNESS/24.3.59, the reverse inscribed in yellow chalk DBR/PROCESS(?)/DEPT
