CAMPOLEONE
Started originally as a hobby project of Mr. Lamborghini (yes, that Lamborghini), the Campoleone is made from 50 Merlot and 50 Sangiovese grown in varied estate vineyards in the Panicale area of Umbria. The grapes were harvested in September and October and vinified in tank. After fermentation, the wine was aged in Nevers and Allier barrels for 12 months.
