This single bottle was purchased on release as part of an 1985 Assortment. All of the bottles were carefully stored in temperature control and imbibed, one by one, until only the Romanée-Conti remained. This motivated seller decided to removed this last bottle from his cellar, where it has sat patiently for 20 odd years, and bring it to NYWinesChristie's for auction.
