With Rolex Garantie et Attestation de Chronomètre Officiel dated 1982, Garantie d'Entretien dated July 2001, seal and green presentation box.

Reference 168000 was in production in 1987 during a very short period of time only. A transitional model using the movement of reference 16800 and the case of reference 16610, its difference is the quality of the stainless steel case, upgraded from the previously used 916 steel to the much harder grade 904L.

Early models featured luminous indexes without borders, later generations, such as the present watch, were fitted with the white gold borders around the luminous numerals. A small series of reference 168000 was also supplied to COMEX.
