According to the Archives of the Montres Omega, the present watch was produced in 1952 and delivered to the Swiss market.

The celebrated Cosmic model, originally introduced to the market in 1947, was Omega's first watch featuring a full calendar combined with moon phases. It was mainly available with 14K or 18K yellow or pink gold cases and fitted with various dial versions.
