AN OUTSTANDING PRIVATE COLLECTION INCLUDING FIRST GROWTH CLARET AND FINE BURGUNDY
The following lots 208 to 345 represent a small selection from an outstanding private collection. The collector, a good friend of Christie's, has bought with intelligence and a real passion for the grape. We have here a smattering of first growths, quality Claret and the very finest wines from Burgundy. All of the wines have been purchased from reputable European merchants or directly from the producers, as the client has very good links to both Bordeaux and Burgundy. Since purchase, they have been stored in a perfect temperature and humidity-controlled, purpose-built warehouse in Northern Europe.
All lots have been inspected by Christie's staff prior to shipment to EHD, Weybridge, Surrey.
