Inlaid overall with flowers within foliate cartouches with a moulded serpentine top over two short conforming and concave-fronted drawers, the fall-front enclosing a burgundy and gilt-tooled leather lined writing surface, the serpentine shaped shelves over four compartmentalised drawers veneered a quatre faces, the two lower doors enclose four further drawers and a low shelf, above a shaped apron with scrolling rocaille mount, splayed feet and foliate scroll sabots, stamped 'LAFOLIE'
