A RARE YELLOW JADE DUCK-FORM VESSEL AND COVER
JIAQING PERIOD (1795 - 1820)
Finely carved with its head sharply turned to the side, clasping a lotus stem in its beak, the wings and tail delicately incised emulating feathers, surmounted by a small duckling forming the cover of the vessel, the stone of a rich, even, yellow tone
4½ in. (11.5 cm.) long
