In the form of an open hibiscus, carved around the exterior with further blossoms and buds, all borne on a branch forming the openwork base, and the handle at one end entwined with a chilong, with a single stamen carved in high relief in the centre of the interior below the overlapping petals, the dark horn with some lighter areas
