A RARE WHITE AND RUSSET JADE 'COILED DRAGON' PENDANT
LATE EASTERN ZHOU/EARLY HAN DYNASTY, 4TH CENTURY BC - 1ST CENTURY AD
The flat pendant finely carved in the shape of a coiled dragon, its body delicately incised with scales, the stone of an opaque tone with russet inclusions, mainly around the tail of the beast
1½ in. (4 cm.) diam.
