TANG DYNASTY (618-907)
Finely chased and engraved on the slightly domed cover and base with a central bird surrounded by a leafy floral scroll amidst smaller birds, the sides with further blooms borne on leafy stems, all reserved on a ring-punched ground
1 7/8 in. (4.8 cm.) diam.
