TWO JADE SWORD FITTINGS
LATE EASTERN ZHOU/WESTERN HAN DYNASTY, 3RD - 2ND CENTURY BC
One a sword slide, the top carved in low relief with tiny comma spirals between a taotie mask at one end and a narrow striated band at the other end, the semi-translucent stone of pale greenish-white colour and with high polish; the other mottled white and brownish-grey of lenticular section carved on both sides with angular scrolls, with a small hole for attachment on the bottom
