Canted rectangular, the cover set with a tughra of split pearls between two flowersprays of rubies, emeralds, sapphires and diamonds, the inside of cover finely painted with a scene of the Bosphorus against a guilloché opalescent enamel sky and framed by gold drapery, the base painted with a flowerbasket against a pale green ground, marked inside cover bezel with Georges Rémond's mark in a lozenge and another mark PC script in an oval; the outer bezel struck with a pseudo décharge mark; the inside base with pseudo London hallmarks
