Faceted octagonal, with faceted knopped baluster stem and socket, marked under base; a George II taperstick, maker's mark GU, circa 1730, shaped square with canted corner, with knopped baluster stem, marked under base with maker's mark only; and two matching George II tapersticks, James Gould, London, 1730 and 1737, shaped circular base, with knopped baluster stem, one engraved with a crest, each marked under base, the 1730 taperstick also marked on socket
