Compare to a tixi red lacquer dish of similar form and design dated to the Song/late Yuan dynasty from the Lee Family collection, included in the Shoto Museum of Art Exhibition, Chinese Lacquerware, Shibuya, Japan, 1981 and illustrated in the Catalogue, no. 22.
