A FINELY CARVED WHITE JADE LADIES GROUP
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY

The ladies both with heads turned looking over their left shoulders, each figure wearing voluminous layered robes, with hair worn partially looped on top of the head and partially falling loose down their backs, the standing figure with her right arm draped around her companion who is seated on a garden seat holding a ruyi sceptre in her left hand, the stone of an even tone and polish with areas of russet skin to the hair of the standing figure
