A GEORGE III MAHOGANY BUREAU-CABINET

The triangular open pediment with pierced later cartouche and spandrel arcading, above a pair of astragal-glazed geometric doors enclosing three adjustable shelves and four drawers, the bureau section with fall-front enclosing a fitted interior with central cupboard with inlaid door flanked by two drawers, four pigeon-holes and two secret drawers to either side, above three short and three long graduated drawers with brass handles, on bracket feet, the fall-front with lock stamped 'F-BARRON STRAND' and 'I2407'
