Closely comparable in subject and technique to a drawing attributed to Isaac in the Albertina, Vienna (B. Schnackenburg, Adriaen van Ostade, Isack van Ostade, Zeichnungen und Aquarelle, Hamburg, 1981, I, no. 429, II, illustrated p. 181). Dr. Bernhard Schnackenburg tentatively supports the attribution.
