Descriptif du lot

Professor Sumowski compares the drawing to a River Allegory, no. 1633x, as being by the same hand, and to a drawing in the Kupferstichkabinett, Berlin, no. 1635x. He dates the present drawing to late in the artist's life, to circa 1670.
