3 vols, quarto (c.290 x c.225mm). Round printed price-change sticker laid in vol. 1, and printed prospectus laid in vol. 3. Illustrated throughout with black and white photographs and diagrams. (Vol. 3 with light spotting to the first and last few leaves.) Original red cloth (vol. 1) stamped in blind and contrasting red, and original card covers (vols 2-3), original photo-illustrated dust-jackets designed by El Lissitzky (dust-jackets with some wear and expert small repairs). Provenance: an early reader (indistinct name and small press-mark on title of vol. 3).
FIRST EDITIONS, IN THE RARE EL LISSITZKY DESIGNED DUST-JACKETS, AND WITH THE RARE PRINTED PROSPECTUS, this with full-page reproductions of Lissitzky's cover designs for each volume in the series.
