FIVE SMALL JADE SWORD FITTINGS, WESTERN HAN DYNASTY (206BC-8AD)
comprising three scabbard fittings, one of pale green and russet tone, decorated with hexagonal diaper pattern of raised dots, the second of yellow and russet tone, with raised c-scroll decoration, the third of pale celadon tone, with similar decorative design; one opaque olive jade sword chape, incised with geometric designs; and a further smaller jade sword chape, altered to an opaque cream tone -- the first, 1 7/8in. (4.8cm.) long. (5)
