A PAIR OF FINELY ENAMELLED PORCELAIN BOWLS, DAOGUANG (1821-1850)
painted to the exterior with small huts nestled amongst rockwork and overhanging trees before a river landscape, two figures walking across a bridge to the foreground, Shen de tang zhi (Hall for the Cultivation of Virtue), underglaze blue marks to base -- 5¼in. (13.4cm.) diam. (2)

Please note one bowl has been damaged on the view.
The underside rim now has a two section small flake chip - 1.3cm x 0.5cm max. The underglaze marks read 'Shen de tang zhi' (Hall for the Cultivation of Virtue) and date to the Daoguang period (1821-1850).
