decorated to the front with pagodas and lines of calligraphy, the neck with prunus sprays, the sides and the reverse inscribed with the poem Tengwang Ge Xu (Preface to the Prince of Teng's Pavillon) by the Tang poet Wang Bo -- 21in. (53.4cm.) high.
