A ROUEN FAIENCE BLUE AND WHITE CHARGER
EARLY 18TH CENTURY
Painted with a central blue-ground flowerhead and scrollwork medallion within a lappet border enclosing leafy scrolls, the rim with a band of continuous lappets alternating with flower-sprays, the footrim pierced for suspension (some minor flakes to glaze around rim)
21 7/8 in. (55.6 cm.) diam.
