Miles & Edwards was one of the most important firms of the later Regency and early Victorian periods. Founded by Henry Miles in 1822 at 134 Oxford Street, Miles & Edwards supplied clients throughout the country with furniture, fabrics and wallpapers. (Forgotten Furniture Makers of Victorian London, Rosamond Allwood).
