For a similar example, see no. 217 in Demakopoulou, ed., The Mycenaean World, Five Centuries of Early Greek Culture, 1600-1100 BC. These stylized animal figurines were produced in bulk, according to Demakopoulou (P. 225, op. cit.), and "are thought usually to have been dedicated in shrines, but a very large number come from tombs and may have been children's toys."
