The tondo with a youthful nude diskobolos leaning forward on bent knees, holding the diskos in his right hand, his left arm projecting back for balance, a fillet in added red in his short hair, a kalos inscription in the field before him; each side of the exterior with a youth between palmettes between eyes, one side with a youth raising a salpinx (trumpet) to his lips in his left hand, his right reaching behind his back, wearing a short chiton, his upper torso bare, a phorbeia (strap) over his mouth, a fillet in added red in his short hair, a shield behind him, a kalos inscription in the field before him; the other side with a youth leaning forward, unwrapping a shield, wearing a short chiton, his upper torso bare, an inscription above
