A cloisonné enamel inkstand
late 17th, early 18th century, probably Moscow
Rectangular, on four octagonal faceted feet, with a drawer opening at one end, the sides, upper surface and removable inkwell enamelled with stylized flower-heads of yellow, green blue and white enamel, pounce pot missing, apparently unmarked
5¼ in. (13.4 cm.) long
