A tray circa 1802 with the same gilding pattern at the rim and painted by Weixlbaum with the same subject is illustrated by Wilhelm Mrazek and Waltraud Neuwirth, Wiener Porzellan, Vienna, 1971, p. 174, tafel 90, pl. 670. The painter's number '16' that appears on most pieces is recorded as that of Karl Radlmacher, a flower painter active 1819-1851.
