The shield-shaped case stamped 'OSMOND' at lower right side, strike adjustment lever by 50, the eight day movement with circular plates joined by five back-pinned pillars, verge escapement with silk suspension, calibrated countwheel strike on a bell, the dial plate and back signed 'Verneaux Paris', pendulum, regilt
18½ in. (47 cm.) high, 9 in. (22.5 cm.) wide
