Gilt-finished movement with verge escapement, chain fusée, finely engraved top plate and pierced and engraved cock, plain three arm balance, turned baluster pillars, white enamel dial, Roman numerals, small seconds, beetle and poker hands, plain inner case, outer case with decoratively engraved border, five piece hinge, case back with a centralised multicoloured enamel scene depicting a young lady tending her sheep, decorative border and pearl and green paste-set bezel to the top part of the case, movement signed and numbered, case identically numbered and additional stamped "R"
