Note:
Huang Jilian worked for the Hong Kong Government and as the editor for Huaqiao Daily Post. He was a friend of Lingnan School artists and was the exhibition curator for Zhao Shaoang in Singapore and Malaysia. He had a fine collection of Zhaos works.
